Remove the peel from the potatoes, grate into a sieve and drain. Finely grate the onion and add it with the diced bacon, a little salt and nutmeg to the mixture. Add enough flour to make the mixture thick.
Heat oil in a cast-iron frying pan, add the portion by the spoonful to the frying pan and bake until golden on both sides.
