For the macadamia muffins, put the flour, baking powder, sugar, chopped chocolate, salt and chopped macadamia nuts in a bowl. Briefly stir in the egg along with the melted butter and milk. Then place muffin cups in a muffin tray and fill with the batter. Sprinkle the muffins generously with whole macadamia nuts, press down a little and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20 minutes.
Preparation Tip:
If you want to know whether the macadamia muffins are ready, do the needle test: poke a knitting needle into a muffin and pull the needle out again. If some batter still sticks to the muffin, then it needs to bake a little longer.
