For the cooling summer drink, first squeeze 1 orange and slice 1 orange and the lemon.
Put everything in a suitable container (pitcher, bowl, etc.) and stir in the sugar.
Peel the ginger, possibly grate a little of it finely and also add together with cardamom pods and mint leaves.
Pour mineral water over the mixture and mash the fruit and mint a little with the handle of a wooden spoon.
The cooling summer drink should now steep for about 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Before serving, add ice cubes and enjoy chilled!

Instead of lemon, of course, a lime can be used for the summer drink.
