For the flambéed apples, wash and dry the apples and cut out the core. Hollow out well. Mix nuts, dates and cherries with powdered sugar and fill the apples with it.

Grease an oven dish with butter, put the apples in it and pour white wine over them. If some of the fruit mixture is left over, simply sprinkle it into the mold.

Cook in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Pour heated rum over it, light it, flambé it and bring it to the table burning.

Preparation Tip:

The flambéed apples taste especially good with whipped cream, vanilla or walnut ice cream.
