Instructions:

Peel the apples and remove the skin.

Place the apples in a greased ovenproof dish with a layer of water.

Peel and grate the ginger.

Mix the honey, Grand Marnier, lemon juice, the ground hazelnuts and the grated ginger.

Fill the apples with it and put a blob of butter on each apple.

Bake the apples in the oven for 25 minutes on the middle shelf at 175 °C.

Remove apples from oven and serve while still warm.

Preparation Tip:

Serve with vanilla sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They go quite well with it and make a perfect combination.
