For the Baileys Gugelhupf, butter a large gugelhupf mold. Chill briefly, then dust with flour. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

Beat the soft butter with the sugar until creamy. Fold in one egg at a time.

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into the butter and sugar mixture. Add the Baileys and fold in well.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the Gugelhupf in a 175 degree oven on the second rack from the bottom for 1 hour.

Let the Gugelhupf stand in the pan for 10 minutes. Later, loosen the edge and turn the cake out onto a plate. Cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
