For the blackberry cobbler, mix melted butter, curd, cream, semolina, vanilla sugar and custard powder. Beat egg yolks with sugar until foamy and mix into curd mixture.

Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, carefully mix with the other mixture and sifted baking powder. Carefully mix the blackberries into the mixture, then pour into the buttered baking dish and bake at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle the blackberry casserole with powdered sugar while still warm and serve.
