For bleeding fingers preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Cut the frankfurters in half. Cut the puff pastry into 2 cm wide strips and wrap the half frankfurters with it.
Leave about 2 cm of the frankfurter sticking out. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove the frankfurters in the puff pastry from the oven and arrange on a plate or platter.
Garnish with the ketchup or paprika at the front of the sausage, which peeks out of the puff pastry.
Let the ketchup trickle out like blood from a finger, so it looks like bleeding fingers.
