For the blood orange and currant jelly with almonds, first boil the blood oranges with the currant and spices until soft. Then puree them with a whisk. Boil up again with jelling sugar.
Pour the almonds into the jars rinsed with schnapps and then pour the jam into the jars. Add a shot of brandy or rum on top of the jam and light it with a match and immediately close the jars tightly with the blood orange and red currant jelly with almonds.
