Try this delicious cake recipe:

Drain cherries. Stir minced pistachio kernels with 2/3 of the marzipan as well as the egg white. Drain the curd. Mix flour, almond kernels (reserve 2 tablespoons) and baking powder. Mix fat and sugar until creamy. Fold in remaining baking oil, lemon zest, eggs and salt. Add curd and flour mixture and knead together until smooth.

Divide dough in half and roll out 2 narrow sheets of 80-100 x 18 cm. Spread the marzipan on one sheet, sprinkle the other with the remaining almond kernels. Spread cherries evenly on both sheets. Roll each up lengthwise and intertwine into a cord. Form into a wreath and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix egg yolks and milk and brush the wreath with it. Bake in a heated oven at 175 °C for about 1 hour. If necessary, cover with parchment paper during the last 10 minutes.

Knead the remaining marzipan and powdered sugar together, roll out and cut out bells. Cut the pistachios in half. Warm the jam and brush the wreath with it. Decorate with marzipan bells, pistachios and pearls.
