Instructions:

For the cinnamon buns, mix all the dough ingredients in a bowl and mix with a mixer with dough hook. Then let the dough rest, covered, for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured work surface and brush generously with the softened butter. Mix the cinnamon with the sugar and ground nuts, sprinkle evenly over the dough and roll it up.

Using a very sharp knife, cut the roll into slices about 2 inches thick and place in a large greased springform. or square baking pan, leaving 1-2 inches between slices. Let the rolls rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour, until they have visibly increased in size and are butting against each other.
