For the croissant casserole, chop the onion and sauté. Add the minced meat and fry.

Oil a large casserole dish and place the croissants raw.

Pour tomato sauce over the mince, peel and chop the tomatoes and add. Add salt, pepper, herbs and bring to the boil.

Pour over the croissant noodles and mix everything well. Cut the olives into rings and add them, saving some for decoration.

Add hot water until everything is covered. Then sprinkle the cheese on top. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil or a lid.

Bake the croissant casserole in a preheated oven at 200 degrees top/bottom heat for 30 minutes.
