For the curry rice with oranges and raisins, brown the long-grain rice according to package instructions with the curry powder and a pinch of salt in a little oil and steam in salted water until soft.

Soak the raisins in lukewarm tap water for about 10 minutes and then squeeze well.

Peel and fillet the oranges.

Heat butter in a frying pan. Toss the steamed curry rice in it. Carefully stir in raisins and orange fillets and season with pepper.

Dry roast almond slivers in a small frying pan without fat until fragrant.
