For the white cabbage, finely chop the white cabbage, finely chop the onion and garlic. Fry the onion and garlic in a little oil, then add the cabbage and fry until it takes on a brownish color and is cooked.
In between, keep stirring so that it doesn’t stick. Season with caraway, salt and pepper. Serve with meat, smoked meat or hash dumplings.

The white cabbage can also be made with roasted bacon cubes.
