Preheat broiler in time Cover potatoes and garlic with salted water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium. Cook potatoes for about 30 minutes until tender. Drain.

Remove peel from potatoes, peel garlic. Mash together in a saucepan.
