Instructions:

For the cabbage casserole, cut the meat into strips, as well as the bell bell pepper, 1 onion and garlic coarsely dice and mix everything. Add 4 tablespoons of oil, gyros spice salt, salt, pepper and oregano and mix well.

Let rest for half an hour. Cut the cabbage very thinly into strips and the onion ,sauté both with 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add salt and pepper. Sauté the meat as well, then remove from the pan.

Add the flour to the frying residue, pour 1/4 l of water and add the whipped cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, add the meat again.

Add half the amount of cheese, salt and pepper. Layer meat and cabbage alternately in strips in a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The cabbage casserole can also be prepared with other meat, or also with minced meat.
