Instructions:

For the kebab, first finely mash the garlic with the salt in a mortar and mix with the other ingredients.

Cut the meat and fat into 3 cm cubes, mix with the marinade and leave to marinate for 12 hours (preferably overnight). Put the meat and bacon on skewers, putting a piece of bacon after every three cubes of meat. Grill for 5-6 minutes, brushing occasionally with soup.

Crush garlic with salt in mortar, stir into yogurt.

Slice onion and tomatoes. Cut lettuce into strips. You can also leave some leaves whole. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise twice, then slice.

Remove the finished grilled meat cubes from the skewer and possibly cut them even smaller (into slices).

Cut pita bread in half, cut a pocket in it. Fill the ingredients one by one into the pita bread. At the end, add the yogurt sauce to the kebab.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can also spice up the kebab. Depending on taste, individual ingredients can also be omitted or others added.
