Instructions:

For the Nanaimo slices, first prepare the base. Melt the butter, sugar and cocoa in a bain-marie and leave to cool. Lightly beat the egg and stir it in.

Mix cookie crumbs with coconut flakes and fold in as well. Flatten the base in a square mold, cover and chill.

For the cream, cream butter and milk until fluffy, fold in vanilla powder and powdered sugar. Spread on the base and chill again.

For the glaze, melt and mix chocolate flakes and butter. Spread on the cold cream and chill again. Refrigerate the Nainamo slices for at least 2 hours.

Preparation Tip:

The Nanaimo slices taste best cold.
