For the orange cake, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix yolks, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar well and gradually add oil, orange juice and lemon juice.

Mix flour, nuts and baking powder and stir into the yolk mixture. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet and bake at 160°C for about 45 – 50 minutes.

Allow the orange cake to cool slightly and serve.

Preparation Tip:

You can still sprinkle the orange cake with powdered sugar.
