For the parsnip stew, chop onion and yellow beets. Cut bacon into small pieces as well. Heat oil in a skillet and slowly brown yellow beets, onions and bacon over medium heat.

Peel potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut pork into pieces about 3×3 cm and fry in a pan with a little oil until hot.

Pour about 250 ml of water and then add the browned onions, bacon and turnips with it. Add soup seasoning. Now add the potato pieces and let everything simmer for 10 min.

In the meantime peel the parsnips and the celeriac and cut them into pieces. Add and cook for another 10 minutes. Season to taste and serve.

Preparation Tip:

Parsnip stew also becomes especially tasty when made with smoked meat.
