A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Preheat the oven to 200 °C in good time.

Cook the potatoes with a little salt in enough water, drain and press or mash through a potato ricer. Let the mash cool down a bit.

Add butter (I) and flour to the mash form and stir with just enough milk to make a loose but malleable dough.

Form the dough into a roll, divide it into six on the spot and shape each into balls.

Press the balls with the palms of your hands into patties about 1 cm thick and 10 cm in diameter, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Season the patties with pepper, salt, nutmeg and thyme. Sprinkle with the nuts. Put butter (Ii) in flakes on top.
