Rabbit pieces rinse and rub dry. Mix honey with the juice of one lemon. Rub the pieces of rabbit with the honey-lemon sauce and spices. Cover and marinate for 2 to 3 hours.

Remove the rabbit pieces from the marinade, drain, dry with a kitchen towel, season with salt, season with pepper and turn lightly in flour to the other side. Heat the oil in a casserole and brown the rabbit pieces nicely all over, removing them repeatedly.

Then steam all the pieces in the casserole with the carrots, pineapple, garlic, pineapple juice, salt and the liquid that has formed in the meantime, plus a little water, at 200 °C for 1 to 1 ½ hours in the stove.

Serve the rabbit with potatoes (boiled potatoes, fried potatoes, boiled peeled potatoes) or with bread.
