Make the potatoes with peel, remove the peel, squeeze through while still warm or grate quite finely and mix with a pinch of salt. Cut the bacon into cubes and fry in linseed oil in a frying pan.
Next, press the grated potato mixture into the frying pan with the hot fat to the thickness of a finger, fry until nicely browned on one side only, turn out onto a plate. Serve with flakes of butter.
