Instructions:

Halve onions and cut into strips, heat oil, sauté onions, add ham fat, stir in paradeis pulp and paprika, extinguish with clear soup and bring to a boil. Drain sauerkraut, chop coarsely and add to soup. Season with pepper, salt, new spice and caraway seeds. Bring soup to a boil and serve with chopped parsley and sour cream or crème fraiche.
