Rinse the cucumbers, remove the skin, cut in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Cut the cucumbers into thick slices with a craft knife. Bring 2 liters of water with 1/2 liter of vinegar to a boil and blanch the cucumbers for 3 minutes.
