For the Schwedenbomben muffins, loosen the wafer bottoms from the Schwedenbombs with a knife. Mix the Swedish bombs in a bowl to a coarse cream or mix coarsely, chop the wafer bottoms finely. Cream the butter and mix with the egg, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the Swedish bomb cream. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in alternating thirds each of flour, buttermilk and wafer crumbs until quantities are used. Pour the mixture into prepared muffin cups and bake the Swedish bomb muffins in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

Garnish the Swedish bomb muffins with some chocolate sauce or chocolate flakes.
