Instructions:

For the dough, beat the yolks, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat egg whites with granulated sugar until stiff.

Stir the almonds, chocolate and flour into the yolk mixture. Then carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture.

Bake the cake at medium heat for about 1 hour.

For the cream, bring the cream to the boil. Dissolve the butter, sugar and chocolate in it. Stir well and season with rum flavoring.

Refrigerate the cake and the cream (separately) overnight.

Cut the cooled cake twice horizontally, fill with the well whipped cream and spread on the outside.

Finally, garnish to taste (e.g. with chocolate chips and candied cherries) and enjoy.
